Casey's BFF!

We are starting to get a bit more sleep. Last night he slept from about 9:00-2:30 which was fantastic. He is much more interactive these days and we are having fun together. I am dreading leaving him while I am at work (glad to have a job) but I am happy to know he will be with his Auntie Sandi, his dad or his Grandma Joanna. I know how lucky I am not ot have to drop him off at some random daycare - I would rather live on Top Ramen.

Anyway, Patsy has been nothing but loving to Casey. She is still injured and feeling a bit less loved I am sure, but she is still as sweet as ever.

Fluke

By the way, the 8 hours of sleep the other night was a fluke. Casey is back to sleeping no more than 4 hours at a time...we are getting used to it.

Two month appt

Casey weighs 12lbs 14oz and is 24 inches long. He is doing great developmentally and had all of his immunizations today. We need to give him more tummy time.

I was just looking at the ultrasound picture below and it seems like such a long time ago. I remember being so nervous and excited. I can't believe he is already here - time flies when you are pregnant and I imagine time flies when you are a parent. So far it is everything I thought it would be and more. I cant imagine life without Casey anymore.

Nine Weeks Later..

Casey is now nine weeks old. He smiles, he giggles and he watches us walk around. He had is second holiday (Valentines Day being not only his birthday but his first holiday). He is a really good baby and last night slept a whopping 8 hours. We hope it isnt a fluke.
